Mattel Intellivision [boxed]
This is another eBay purchase and
I'm please to say it is "Mint!" I love the gold and wood panel
effects of this machine. The design is beautiful except for one
very important oversight - the controllers are
rubbish! Don't get me wrong - they look the part, but they are
so awkward to use. It really lets the machine down - this could
have been the great Atari beater if they had better understood
how games were played.
Aquarius [unboxed]
The Radofin designed computer which failed to allow Mattel to break into the home computer market. This came from eBay and I brought it out of curiosity as it came with several games - including the rare Burger Time [boxed] which was worth the asking price all on it's own! This computer only had 4K of RAM as standard (although this could be upgraded with RAM carts) and featured a "Chiclet" rubber keyboard similar in feel to that of a pocket rubber keyed calculator.
