NeoGeo
Pocket Color [boxed]
This of course was another eBay purchase, it came with several games including Metal Slug. Every kid wanted a NeoGeo growing up - it was the ultimate console which allowed you to play arcade perfect games at home, but there was just one problem - they were bloody expensive! And guess
what!? They are now even more expensive...
As a result the only "NeoGeo" I have managed to get my hands on is this pocket colour. I have played it and was impressed by the graphics which (in my humble opinion) are probably the best of any handheld of the time. It plays well and is sturdy to hold. The controls are easy to reach and the screen has a pretty high viewing angle for the time. All-in-all a good machine, but the comparatively small number of games released for it (compared to other handhelds of the day) meant it could never really compete commercially.
